By Donating in Memory of a Love One
If you are donating in memory of a loved one or dear friend that has passed and would like to donate to the museum in their memory please make your cheque payable to:

Make sure you include your address to ensure you receive a tax receipt and we will notify the family that you have donated. On the face of the cheque in the memo section please write in Special Projects and or the name of the person you are honouring.
Thank you for your donation to the Dorset Heritage Museum we accept all donations with deep appreciation.
By Donating Your Time
There are many ways you can help the museum by donating your time. One way is to help with our open hours at the museum. We are open May holiday weekend, weekends only till July 10am – 4pm. July through to the end of Thanksgiving Weekend. Wed. – Sunday 10 am – 4pm. We have two volunteer shifts during the day 10am – 1pm and 1pm – 4pm. You would greet our visitors as they arrive. Answer any tourist information questions they may have of the area, and check in with them during their visit to our exhibits, answer the phone, take messages, light housekeeping of our main floor of the museum.
Outdoor gardens, flower baskets, and sign planter box always need weeding and dead heading.
